Our week of 4/29 show is up.

The Delfonics spanned several decades, including the 1980s, and our guest this week is the co-founder, songwriter, leader and singer of the band, William Hart. Their classic soul/R & B sound inspired many of the greats for the last decade including Prince, of whom Hart reminisces fondly in this interview (you will also find out how much the Delfonics’ “La La Means I Love You” meant to the late superstar).

Not only does William have an archive of new music out, he has a mission: with his record company, La La Records, Hart is seeking out great talent while teaching them the business side as well. Hart will discuss how important it is for artists to know they can make money that is rightfully theirs through their artistry and hard work and not get ripped off by record companiy executives like he, his band mates and several other artists did in the 50s, 50s and 70s.

Our conversation takes place during hour 2 of our program
