Our 4/28-5/4 show podcast/syndication edit is up. Dave & the Dynamos were formed out of the popular New Zealand band Hogsnort Rupert with Dave Luther on lead vocals. They were an instant smash, producing two huge hits “Life Begins at 40” (1983) and “Can’t Spell Rhythm” (1984) in the relatively short time span of their existence and played all over Australia and New Zealand. Luther sported one of the great mustaches in music history as the group played more of an electric sound over Hogsnort Rupert’s eclectic repertoire. Dave Luther talks about Dave & the Dynamos and his entire music career (including over 40 years with Hogsnort Rupert) with host Chris Cordani on Revenge of the 80s Radio.
