Midge Ure is back with us on Revenge of the 80s Radio. The acclaimed musician has a new album out, one that was two years in the making: Orchestrated. The new release features Ure’s recordings of classic Ultravox, solo tracks and a new song with a full orchestra. Ure, who is currently touring North America with Paul Young, tells host Chris Cordani how the idea was conceived, what went into it, working with the orchestra and how the cuts he selected for Orchestrated were re-scored for the classical instrumentation. We also play music from The Professionals, Dexy’s, U.K. Subs, Dramarama, The Blasters, Romeo Void and more.
