Ultravox Reunion Tour to Begin April 10th

Not long after the success of the band’s February CD and DVD releases, Ultravox is touring Great Britain together for the first time since Live Aid in 1985. Warren Cann, Chris Cross, Billy Currie and Midge Ure made their decision quite quickly, according to reports. The first concert is scheduled for April 10th at the Edinburgh Playhouse as the tour runs through May 3ed. They also have concert dates, one eah, in June and August as of the time of this post. The Ultravox official website says the band may add more dates to the concert series.


Ultravox were huge new wave hit-makers in the United Kingdom and had a cult following overseas America, most notably among the college radio listenership. Their top hits include “Reap the Wild Wind” and “Vienna.” Ure, who was also a vital member of Thin Lizzy and Visage, scored a #1 solo hit in Britain with “If I Was.”
