On tonight’s Revenge of the 80s Radio show, we will take time in the second hour to dedicate a Cramps music block in honor of Lux Interior, whose untimely passing was just one year ago (February 4, 2009).
Lux Interior and wife/musical partner Poison Ivy formed The Cramps in 1976. They invented the “Psychobilly” music genre as part of the early punk scene and will continue to be major influences as they have been to several alternative rock bands.
We will also play classic alternative music from INXS, Missing Persons, The Art of Noise, Big Country, Laibach and more.
