With a new album slated to be released soon, Devo gave fans a sneak listen to some “Fresh” music on Jimmy Kimmel‘s late night show on Tuesday.

In addition to their most successful chart hit, “Whip It,” Devo performed “Fresh” and “What We Do,” tracks from the new album, Something For Everyone, the first for the new wavers in twenty years. The band announced on the show that the collection will be available in June.

Featured tracks include the two performed on the Tuesday night show, as well as “Don’t Shoot – I’m a Man” and “Watch Us Work It.

After twenty years and several rumors and delays regarding the creation of the album, Devo’s approach does not seem much different from their early days as classic alternative standard-bearers. They kept their roots intact, bringing a true 80s synth sound to their all-tiem fans and an unsuspecting new generation of music listeners who just got their wake-up call on late night TV.
