Friends, Fans to Celebrate Joey Ramone’s Birthday Benefit Bash at the Fillmore in NYC

Friends and fans of Joey Ramone will party tonight in celebration of what would have been his 59th birthday. The big bash starts at the Fillmore (Irving Plaza, NYC) with performances by Hank III, Morningwood, the Sick F*cks and Friends of Joey Ramone (which include Richie Ramone, Slipknot’s Clown, Jean Beauvoir, and others). The proceeds will benefit the Lymphoma Research Foundation; tickets are still available via Live Nation.
There will also be an after-party at the Belmont Lounge with Ramones cover bands and a classic punk DJ.
