Revenge of the 80s Radio

Welcome back!

The podcast for our June 5, 2009 Revenge of the 80s is up and available at the end of this post. This week’s show features a conversation with Terri Nunn, she and Berlin will be on this year’s Regeneration Tour.

Last year, Terri came on with us to talk about her career and some new developments with Berlin at the time (the 2008 interview is here). This time, we talk about some of the interesting things Terri is working on now, including:

• Berlin’s live CD/DVD, Berlin: All the Way In, with some new music as well as classic tracks.
• The Regeneration Tour and other upcoming performances
• Terri’s charity work
• A reality TV project

• ..and Terri’s thoughts on talk radio — and working on her own show.

Berlin will also be headlining the LA Gay Pride 2009 event on June 14th.

This week we also premiered another song from Adriana Kaegi’s new solo album, TAG, which is now available. Our review of TAG is in here. It is the first full solo album for Kaegi, who has worked on several musical projects as a performer, choreographer, costume designer and video producer. Kaegi is also planning the upcoming release of her documentary, Kid Creole and My Coconuts, on the band she helped form.
We also featured classic alternative music from artists of the era including Icicle Works, X, The Pogues and Echo & the Bunnymen.
