Our 7/24 Show Podcast with Caron Maso Murray Is Up
Welcome back!

The podcast version of our 7/24 Revenge of the 80s Radio show featuring a conversation with Caron Maso Murray of The Little Girls is up and available at the bottom of this post.

The Little Girls have two new CDs out: Thank Heaven for Valley Pop and Today… and Yesterday. They are released in the U.S. under the band’s Valley Pop Records label.
Thank Heaven for Valley Pop features classic tracks from The Little Girls’ first album, Thank Heaven including “The Earthquake Song,” “How To Pick Up Girls.” “Rich Girl,” “Left Without a Real Kiss” and others along with early demos of “Earthquake Song” and “Anyway.” The CD is sure to bring back several great memories of the 80s.
Today… and Yesterday has the band’s new music and previously unreleased demos from the 1980s. The new songs include “Upswing” (written by Kip Brown), “Come Back to Me” and “Suzy Clone” while the unreleased material includes some past radio interview bits and some answering machine fun.
Caron was on Revenge of the 80s last year when we talked about the history of The Little Girls and their reunion. This time, we discuss the new CDs Caron’s thoughts on some of the tracks, sister Michele and Caron’s new solo project. Our interview with Caron leads off the second hour of the show.
We will review the CDs soon. In the meantime, they are available on Amazon.
We also played tracks from Gene Loves Jezebel, Robin Lane and the Chartbusters, Kid Creole and the Coconuts and a “Ooh La La” from Adriana Kaegi’s new TAG album in honor of the video she recently released for the cut. The Coconuts will never be the same without her. Keep up to date on everything Adriana is doing on her website and the page for her “Dear Addy” Productions company.
