This week, Deniz Tek will be our guest with top-notch Detroit musicians Chris “Jukebox” Taylor and Al King. The three recently recorded and produced a track together with the Taylor-led Mazinga project. We will discuss the track and talk Detroit rock with these fine music-makers. Tek is a well-respected influential songwriter, singer and guitar player, as well as a doctor. He has founded ground-breaking bands, including Radio Birdman, The Races and The Visitors. Several top musicians around the world have been influenced by Tek’s work. Young and King are top musicians out of Detroit. They played together in Powetrane and Mazinga.
