Our Sept. 15-22 show with Herwig Rudisser of Opus podcast/synd edit is up

Written by on September 16, 2017

In 1978, Austrian singer Herwig Rudisser answered a newspaper ad from a band called Opus. The classical music-influenced band had been together since 1973 and would soon change their creative direction. After producing some hit singles, Opus celebrated their 11th anniversary at a concert with a new song they wrote for the occasion. “Live is Life” became an instant hit and soon an international arena rock anthem. The band has recorded several albums, changed their sound at times and is still together today and playing in front of huge crowds who still sing in unison to the familiar “Na Naa Na Na Naaa” hook. Herwig Rudisser is Chris Cordani’s guest on the next Revenge of the 80s Radio.
