This Friday’s Guest (4/9): Martha Davis

Written by on April 5, 2010

On Friday’s show, Martha Davis talks with me about her newest endeavor: a children’s music album. It is a somewhat whimsical journey through various musical styles called Red Frog Presents: 16 Songs for Parents and Children. This project, one of many to which Davis has been devoting time, is a mix of life lessons and quirky stories that will not only charm the little ones but is enjoyable for adults to listen along with them.

We will talk about the songs and characters that came from inside Davis’ creative mind like “Sallymander,” “Professor Owl” and “Francois the Flying Squirrel” as well as her thoughts behind the music.

Martha Davis also has more surprises for fans. While we will discuss some of them, keep listening to Revenge of the 80s and reading this blog for more news from Martha.

Martha Davis and her extremely cool manager, Gaye Ann Bruno, have recently revamped her official website with an improved look and constantly updated concert information.
