Paul Weller to Kick Off U.S. Tour in September

Paul Weller, formerly of The Jam and The Style Council, will start his next U.S. tour to support his latest solo CD, 22 Dreams, beginnig September 2nd according to Yep Roc Records.
[amazonify]B001AE3V4M[/amazonify]Weller, who has concerts scheduled over the next few weeks in Spain, Australia and Japan, will embark on what’s being called his most extensice tour of the United States in years. The Modfather is most famous for forming The Jam and The Style Council and their several U.K. chart hits. Weller went solo in 1991. Each of Weller’s solo studio albums hit the U.K. Top 10 including three #1’s.
Weller’s currently annouced September tour dates are:
- September 2, 3 – Los Angeles, CA – The Wiltern
- September 4 – San Francisco, CA – The Filmore
- September 9 – Boston, MA – Berklee Performance Center
- September 10 – New York, NY – Nokia Theatre
- September 11 – New York, NY – Highline Ballroom
- September 13 – Washington, DC – 9:30 Club
- September 14 – Philadelphia, PA – Trocadero
- September 16 – Chicago, IL – House of Blues
