Katrina of Katrina and the Waves is back on with us on this edition of Revenge of the 80s Radio, this time with a new album: Hearts, Loves and Babys. The new creation is reflective and autobiographical in many ways with varied styles among its tracks from the classic Katrina to some power ballads, a bit of Celtic and early jazz.

This week’s Revenge of the 80s Radio features new wave dance tracks and extended remixes from Clan of Xymox, Blancmange, Sisters of Mercy, Book of Love, King, Belouis Some and more classic alternative artists

we pay tribute to one of the most innovative British comedy shows: The Young Ones. We play music from each of the 12 episodes and from other projects by ensemble cast of Rik Mayall (Rick), Ade Edmondson (Vyvyan), Nigel Planer (Neil), Christopher Ryan (Mike) and Alexei Sayle (The Balowski Family and other characters).

Suzi Quatro is back on with us and with a new album, The Devil in Me. The album, produced by her son Richard Tuchey, features Suzi spanning genres from her classic sound, to the blues, moving ballads, some modern rock and a hint of smooth jazz-rock back to a potential Detroit anthem titled “Motor City Riders.”

Clive Parker talks with Chris about his newest musical project, Coneboy. The collaboration with Marshall Star’s album, titled The Shape of Things to Come, is a release from Parker’s Furry Records and features both excerpts as well as concepts from his 2018
