Our week of 7.8 show podcast/synd edit is up. Do you remember the house band in the bar from the movie “Pretty In Pink?” They were recording artists (as well as A&M Records mail room employees) The Rave-Ups. The group’s frontman, Jimmer Podrasky, is our guest this week on Revenge of the 80s Radio. Jimmer will tell us about the band, working at A&M Records, how they got the “Pretty In Pink” gig, why their song “Positively Lost Me” was not included on the movie soundtrack, his hiatus from music to be a dad, his solo work and the re-release of The Rave-Ups’ “Town and Country” album.

Our conversation takes place during hour 2 of our program

We also play music from Ultravox, Seona Dancing, Split Enz, Nina Hagen, Kid Creole & the Coconuts and many more
