The Podcast for our 11/13 Show is Up

The podcast for our 11/13 Revenge of the 80s Radio show is up and available at the bottom of this post.

This week, we feature a new single from I, Ludicrous: “We’re the Support Band.” I, Ludicrous was formed in 1985 by John Procter and David Rippingale. In 2008, Martin Brett (formerly of Voice of the Beehive) joined the ensemble. They had some prominent albums in the 1980s and have continued to put out new material through today.

I, Ludicrous mixes early punk and some metal with a touch of pop for some extra energy. They can be a bit comical, almost Mojo Nixon-ish at times, yet — like Nixon — their musicianship sets them apart from others who try and do the same. They are still very popular in Britain and their new music constantly earns regular airplay there.

We also feature classic alternative tracks from artists including Siouxsie and the Banshees, Gazebo, The Clash, Icehouse, Holly and the Italians and Aztec Camera.
