After being out-of-print for decades, Nick Lowe’s Labour of Lust album will soon be re-released. Yep Roc Records says it plans to re-issue the 1979 new wave classic compilation

New music from Alt-County Rockers Jason & the Scorchers will be featured in an upcoming PBS documentary. Thoughts on the band and their new album, slated for release in 2010.

This week, we showcase a duet between former Squeeze Keyboardist-turned-TV Host Jools Holland and ska music pioneer Prince Buster (who Americans might remember from his 1967 hit “The Ten Commandments). Other artists featured include Altered Images, The Little Girls, The Clash and Nick Lowe.

Tonight’s Revenge of the 80s Radio show will feature classic alternative music from artists including Altered Images, Haysi Fantaysee, The Little Girls, Nick Lowe and The Clash. We will also feature a 2007 track from former Squeeze keyboardist, accomplished band leader and TV Host Jools Holland with ska pioneer Prince Buster: “Enjoy Yourself”
