Adriana Kaegi’s documentary, Kid Creole and My Coconuts, is officially on the schedule to be screened at the CMJ Film Destival in New York City. It is scheduled to run 9:15pm, October 22nd at the Clearview Theater on 23rd Street

Adriana Kaegi, the original Mama Coconut and co-founder of Kid Creole and the Coconuts, offers her unique brand of elegance and diverse talents with her recently-released solo album, TAG.

Our guest is Adriana Kaegi, the original “Mama Coconut” of the influential band Kid Creole and the Coconuts. Adriana is a woman of many talents: singer, choreographer, designer, businessperson and internet pioneer are among her credits. She will soon release her solo album, TAG (from which we premiere a track) and she has recently completed a video documentary about her experiences with the band she helped establish entitled “Kid Creole and My Coconuts.”
