Friends of Kirsty MacColl will hold a special memorial concert on October 10th in honor of her tragic untimely death ten years ago. Artists performing include Shane McGowan, Billy Bragg, Kim Wilde, Jamie Corr and Allison Moyet. The show will take place at the O2 Shepherds Bush Empire in London

Today, October 10th would have been Kirsty MacColl’s 50th birthday. The sad news of her tragic accident in 2001 while vacationing in Cozumel struck music fans around the world and continues to be a story of corruption and injustice that led to a fight which her family continues today.
