Tonight’s Revenge of the 80s Radio show will feature a chat with Terri Nunn, who will be on this year’s Regeneration Tour. This one might be a continuation of the interview Terri did with me last year on the show

Terri Nunn will be on this year’s Regeneration Tour and will be my guest on the next Revenge of the 80s Radio. We talk about Berlin’s upcoming live CD/DVD, playing on the Regeneration Tour, talk radio and her possible return to television.

This week’s Revenge of the 80s Radio show features a conversation with Wang Chung’s Jack Hues, who will be on this year’s Regeneration Tour.

Tonight, Wang Chung’s Jack Hues is my guest on Revenge of the 80s Radio. Jack and longtime bandmate Nick Feldman are back together and will be on this year’s Regeneration Tour.

This week, our guest on Revenge of the 80s Radio will be Jack Hues. He and Nick Feldman partnered up with drummer Darin Costin to form Huang Chung, which later became known as Wang Chung. Hues and Feldman will be on this year’s Regeneration Tour with Terri Nunn and Berlin, ABC, Cutting Crew and Missing Persons.

This week’s Revenge of the 80s Radio show features a conversation with actress Sally Kellerman, best known to 80s fans as Rodney Dangerfield’s English Professor/love interest in the movie Back to School and the Judge in Moving Violations. She has a new CD out: “Sally.”

Our first anniversary show is now available in a podcast at the bottom of this post. To celebrate our first anniversary, we re-aired our first-ever interview on the program: a conversation with Tracey and Missy Belland of Voice of the Beehive.

While next year we have some exciting things planned for Revenge of the 80s Radio and the B.C. Eagle Radio Network, we want to celebrate our first anniversary by re-airing the first interview we did fro the show: a conversation with Tracey and Missy Belland of Voice of the Beehive. It was fun talking with them and finding out more about the band that still has a strong following to this day. Our discussion leads off the second hour of the show

To celebrate our 1 Year Anniversary, I will re-air our first interview in the history of our show: a conversation with Tracey and Missy Belland of Voice of the Beehive. I had a great time during that discussion; Tracey and Missy are extremely nice and were happy to talk about the band, which also included Martin Brett, Daniel Woodgate and Mike Jones.

Our guest is Adriana Kaegi, the original “Mama Coconut” of the influential band Kid Creole and the Coconuts. Adriana is a woman of many talents: singer, choreographer, designer, businessperson and internet pioneer are among her credits. She will soon release her solo album, TAG (from which we premiere a track) and she has recently completed a video documentary about her experiences with the band she helped establish entitled “Kid Creole and My Coconuts.”

Tonight’s Revenge of the 80s Radio will feature a conversation with the diversely-talented Adriana Kaegi, the original “Mama Coconut” and founding member of the legendary Kid Creole and the Coconuts. Adriana is releasing her new solo album, TAG, this month and has recently completed a documentary entitled Kid Creole and My Coconuts. Our interview leads off the second hour of tonight’s program

This week’s Revenge of the 80s Radio show (3/7) will feature a conversation with Adriana Kaegi, a founding member of the influential Kid Creole and the Coconuts. Kaegi is diversely talented in music, choreography, costume design, marketing and business. We will talk about her career, her soon-to-be-released album — TAG — and her recently-completed documentary DVD: “Kid Creole and My Coconuts.”

This week’s program features a conversation with Louise Robey, who scored several dance hits in the 1980s including her rendition of “One Night in Bangkok,” was also well-known for her role as “Micki Foster” on the TV show Friday the 13th – The Series. Robey has led a very interesting life and has had a diverse career. She is also coming out with new music. Our interview takes place during the second hour of the show

Tonight’s guest on Revenge of the 80s Radio will be Louise Robey, best known for her 1980s dance hits “One Night in Bangkok” and “Killer Instinct” as well as for the TV role of Micki Foster on Friday the 13th – The Series (Season 2 DVDs have been recently released). We will play some of Robey’s classic tracks, one from her band Louise and the Creeps and something from her soon-to-be-released collection. My conversation with Louise Robey leads off the second hour of the show.

Singer, Model and Actress Louise Robey will be my guest on the next Revenge of the 80s Radio show (2/27). She is best known in the early 80s as “Robey,” when she had some hits on the Billboard Dance Charts, including her rather elegant version of “One Night in Bangkok,” which made the Hot 100. The Podcast for our February 6th show, which features an interview with Tony Kinman (The Dils, Rank and File) is up and available at the bottom of this post. We talk about early San Francisco punk, its influences into the 80s, The Dils, Kinman’s music career and his latest project, Los Trendy. The discussion starts in the second hour of the show. We also played a double-shot of music from The Cramps during the first hour in honor of the passing of Lux Interior.

Tonight’s Revenge of the 80s Radio show will feature a conversation with Tony Kinman, former bassist for the legendary punk band The Dils, Rank and File, Blackbird and currently with Los Trendy. We discuss the San Francisco punk scene of mid to late 70s, its place in music history and influence on alternative music in the 80s.

This coming Friday’s Revenge of the 80s Radio show will feature an interview with Tony Kimnan who, with his brother Chip, founded the San Francisco-based influential punk band The Dils. We discuss the San Francisco punk scene, its origins, the rise of punk and its influence on alternative artists of the late 70s and 80s. We also talk about the Dils as well as the Kinmans’ projects through the 80s (Rand and File, Blackbird) as well as Tony Kinman’s current band, Los Trendy

Leading off the second hour is our conversation with legendary Detroit Alt-Rocker Nikki Corvette, who with Amy Gore of the Gore Gore Girls formed Gorevette. The first hour featured new music from Andy Prieboy as part of a series of singles he has been putting out since November 2008.

Tonight’s Revenge of the 80s Radio Show will feature a chat with Nikki Corvette on Gorevette, the new band she formed with Amy Gore of the Gore Gore Girls. Also in the second hour, we will play some Iggy and the Stooges songs in honor of the passing of their innovative guitarist, Ron Asheton.
The first hour will feature a new single from Andy Prieboy: “Pauper to a King.”
