Adriana Kaegi this week released a dance version of her electronica hit “I’ve Been Going Out,” which premiered on Revenge of the 80s Radio earlier this year.

After careful consideration, Revenge of the 80s has put together a list of the top 50 cover songs of the classic alternative era.

This week, we feature new music from Gorevette, who are currently touring with Blondie (our review of their 8/31 concert at the Nokia Theater in New York City is here), and Stan Ridgway from his newly-released Neon Mirage album.

This week, Andy Prieboy is back for a second time. The former Wall of Voodoo frontman recently released a collection of tracks titled Don’t Tell That Guy Anythig, which Prieboy calls a sketchbook of experiments, forgotten projects and shelved songs.

Friends of Kirsty MacColl will hold a special memorial concert on October 10th in honor of her tragic untimely death ten years ago. Artists performing include Shane McGowan, Billy Bragg, Kim Wilde, Jamie Corr and Allison Moyet. The show will take place at the O2 Shepherds Bush Empire in London

This week on Revenge of the 80s, we will feature new music by Wang Chung and Adriana Kaegi with classic alternative cuts from artists including The Boomtown Rats, The Cramps, The Fabulous Poodles, The Motels, and The Flirts.

Wang Chung is back and with a bit of a new sound. This year, he and Nick Feldman are headlining a tour to support their latest new EP, Abducted By the 80s, and two more being planned for later this year.

For the 4th of July Holiday Weekend, Revenge of the 80s Radio will re-broadcast our show with the 2009 interview with The Little Girls’ Caron Maso Murray.
